This home from home is in its own wooded grounds. Set in glorious countryside near a charming small village, there is little to hear apart from bird song, cow bells and the chiming of the church clock. On the doorstep are a variety of beautiful circular walks with panoramic views across to the Pyrenees. The garden has lawns, an area of mixed wood, table tennis, and will have a new swimming pool.. A grassy ride winds through the trees past a chalet style summer house. It is great for children or anyone wanting to commune with nature. The Villa has a cool airy living area with antiques, leather sofas and chairs, and a wood burning fireplace. For entertainment there is ADSL broadband internet access by wifi or cable for your laptop, UK freeview satellite colour TV, a DVD player, a radio/cassette/CD player, a selection of books and some games. Above the dining table is an attractive mezzanine area with sofa bed, easy chairs and books. There are five comfortable bedrooms with new en-suite bath/shower rooms.. The kitchen is light, airy and comprehensively equipped, it has an adjoining laundry/utility room. Alfresco life is easy on the shaded terraces with tables and chairs, plus a barbecue.. This is a family home in the winter and so is equipped to be a "home from home" for its guests.

Budget airlines fly to 3 airports in the area from various UK airports:THE WEATHER
The Languedoc-Roussillon region enjoys some of the highest temperatures in France, but Valmigere is set high in the hills and enjoys comfortable temperatures in the height of summer. It has a fantastic climate and at 676 metres it enjoys the benefit of a general decrease in air temperatures of by about 1°C per 150m, due not only to low air pressures but also to relatively cleaner air (free of dust particles and pollution) which reduces the amount of diffuse radiation and the heat retaining properties of the air.
